The Napoleon

The Napoleon (also called mille-feuille) was created around 1651 and was given this name in that era. The flaky dough that was made then included 729 layers (feuilles). A recent folding method developed 2048 layers (!). Whatever the number, we find easier to call it a Mille-Feuille.

ORIGINE Sesame & Sunflower Loaf

A blend of wheat sourdough and sunflower seeds with a hint of toasted sesame. Ideal for sandwiches or for dunking into a hearty bowl of soup, this tasty bread is a go-to for almost any meal or occasion.

Eclair

The name of this dessert comes from the French “éclair” which means 'flash of lightning', and it’s true that this dessert disappears very quickly.

The Confidence has been created by our baker. and is unique to Au Pain Doré. Bakery lovers come to our stores for this treat because it can’t be found anywhere else! The Confidence is crafted with homemade chocolate ganache nestled between two fluffy biscuits, with hint of almond.

Frozen Croissants

Sold in packs of six, these ready-to-bake croissants are the same delicious ones you'll find in our displays.
Instructions: Place frozen croissants on a baking sheet lined oven tray. Allow to thaw for 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until your croissants are golden brown.

Frozen Chocolatines

Sold in packs of six, these ready-to-bake chocolatines are the same delicious ones you'll find in our displays.
Instructions: Place frozen croissants on a baking sheet lined oven tray. Allow to thaw for 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes or until your croissants are golden brown.

14-inch Pizza Dough

Instructions: Allow dough to thaw at room temperature for about two hours. Roll out the dough and place it on a lightly oiled pizza pan or baking sheet to prevent it from sticking. Bake at 425°F for 12 to 25 minutes depending on your toppings.

Brioché Rolls

Sold in packs of 12, Brioché Rolls can be stuffed with your favorite filling for a buffet or made into fun sandwiches for kids. They are made of pure butter and have a slightly sweet taste.
Instructions: Simply thaw at room temperature and they are ready to serve.

Flaky Dough

Delicious and ready-to-use, our flaky dough can simply be unrolled and baked with your favourite filling.
Instructions: Allow dough to thaw at room temperature for two hours. Roll out and fill with your favourite ingredients. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 40 minutes or as directed in your recipe.

Macaron

Parisian pastry chefs first had the idea of stuffing two biscuits with a ganache filling around 1830. Maison Ladurée was the first patisserie to popularize the product that we now enjoy today in multiple flavours and colours (Source: Gralon.net).
